Introduction

Michaelmas is a newly restored and refurbished Cotswold stone cottage with stunning views, located halfway up Bourton-on-the-Hill, one of the most quintessentially picturesque little villages in the whole of the Cotswolds, just a couple of miles from the market town of Moreton-in-Marsh. Mitchells Cottage has three bedrooms with room for five and a baby. All of its windows have uninterrupted views of either the south facing cottage garden, or the beautiful Batsford Estate directly behind the cottage.

The cottage was formerly two estate workers' cottages built about 300 years ago. It has been renovated to a high standard whilst retaining the original beams, two large inglenook fireplaces, exposed stone, window seats and floorboards. A new wood burning stove has been fitted in addition to gas central heating and it has been furnished and fitted as a home rather than a holiday let.
